Kyle Honeycutt (Drums & Percussion) Born in Bloomington, Indiana, Kyle studied under renowned studio musician and Saturday Night Live house band member Shawn Pelton. Since 1997, Kyle has manned the drum chair for the Dave Stone Trio, a group that has received numerous critical and reader accolades from the Riverfront Times. He is also currently a member of the St. Louis New Jazz X-Tet, the Paul DeMarinis Group, and he freelances with many of St. Louis' finest musicians.
Kyle’s performance resume includes work with internationally known jazz guitarists Joshua Breakstone, Herb Ellis, and Larry Coryell. He has also performed with well-known international and regional artists including Petula Clark, Tom Kennedy, Erin Bode, and Dave Easley.
Brian graduated from Webster University in St. Louis in 1996 with a Bachelor's Degree in Music with an emphasis in Jazz Studies. He continued his education at Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville where he earned a Master's Degree in Music in Jazz Guitar Performance in 2000. Outside of his education, Brian has been active as an educator as well as a performer. He has taught a variety of jazz and general music courses at Southwestern Illinois College, St. Louis Community College, and St. Charles Community College such as Jazz History, Jazz Ensemble, Rock History, and numerous others. He has also performed and recorded with many of the top musicians in the St. Louis area.
Currently Brian oversees the music education department at Fazio's Frets & Friends which includes roughly thirty instructors, individual and group lessons, a regular schedule of visiting artist workshops (including artists such as Larry Coryell, Tuck Andress, Johnny Hiland, Greg Koch, and Ernie Isley to name a few). He created and directs the successful kids music program titled 'Fazio's Rock Academy'. As a band leader, Brian has formed and performed with his own groups over the last several years including, most recently, the Brian Vaccaro Jazz Trio. In addition to teaching and performing, Brian has worked with Mel Bay Publications as an author for the webzine 'Guitar Sessions' and as a co-editor and creator of the 'Fazio's Frets & Friends Complete Guitar Method'. Brian currently resides with his family in Kirkwood, Missouri.
A native of St. Louis, Nick is a jazz/contemporary pianist with a Music Composition degree from Webster University. He has played for several acts of different styles on local, national, and international levels such as Naked Groove, Corey Christianson, Phil Jones (CEO and head designer of Phil Jones Bass), Jake Simpson ( Star Search, Oprah), Tim Drexel (Australian Television), Audra Mae (Judy Garland' granddaughter, prolific singer/songwriter), and most recently blues artist Silky Sol at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage festival.
He has composed many independent film scores ( Red Ink and What Daddy Does), produced many works for live dance and ballet (Grandma Bee's Stories, Tango), and has been an extraordinarily prolific tune smith and arranger for several groups and singers. He has been recording as a session player, actively working for producer Rich Landers ( Jerry Lee Lewis, Tina Turner, Marty Ballin) and just recently finished Silky Sol's project "Grown Woman Talking".
